What an incredible journey it has been. This whole experience for me has felt like the planning of a pregnancy. There have been moments of excitement, a few missed attempts, at times where things didn’t land quite how I’d hoped…but deep down, I always knew something was growing.
This time last year, I truly committed to the journey of creating Birth from Within. And if I’m honest I had no idea where it would lead. Fast forward to now, and it feels like that long-awaited birth has finally happened…and I have given birth to something quite extraordinary. Now, for a woman who has birthed an 11lb baby, I never thought I would give birth to something quite this big - but here we are!
A year ago my networking introduction was: “Hi, my name is Tess Lovely, I’m a retired midwife. I provide antenatal classes and support groups for women on their pregnancy journeys…I am a virgin at business and an expert in vagina’s”.
It certainly got peoples attention!
And now?
Well…I can’t say I am a virgin at business. But like any new parent, I am learning (about business), growing and finding my feet as I go. And what a journey it has been.
